East Village offers excellent access to diverse transportation options, including multiple rapid transit stations and about 20 bus lines, making commuting convenient without relying on personal vehicles. The neighborhood features well-maintained cycling infrastructure alongside flat terrain, fostering easy bicycle travel throughout the area. Lastly, finding things to do in this part of the city is very easy. Despite the fact that few entertainment venues can be found nearby, there are crowds of people around most of the time, and places to go out at night are well-spread throughout the neighborhood.
